Lamination is the process of applying a thin layer of film to paper and boards to enhance and protect the surface.
Eco – ‘Green’ lamination film made from highly refined wood pulp has the same appearance as OPP lamination but can be recycled with standard recycling products.
Gloss OPP lamination provides a wide range of uses across a whole spectrum of printed products. The properties of good gloss and strength and the advantages of low cost make it suitable for lots of applications. Perfect for brochures, catalogues, book covers, magazines and reports.

Gloss OPP film can be laminated over apertures to create windows.
Matt OPP lamination is a low cost premium effect protective layer for printed paper and boards. It is especially popular when used with Foil Blocking and Spot UV Varnishing to create a high contrast effect.
Top Tip:
Matt lamination is prone to scuffing, Anti Scuff Lamination is more suitable for products with higher expected wear.
Soft Touch lamination is a matt BOPP film with a soft velvety texture. It is instantly recognisable with a tactile sensuous feel and works extremely well with Foil Blocking and Spot UV Varnishing.
Top Tip:
Certain tints such as blues, purples and reds can become slightly stronger when laminated.

One of our favourites, this laminate allows for consistently immaculate presentations, making sure our print never lets you down. Best applied to smooth surfaces for perfect bonding, laminating rough or uncoated papers can create mottling and silvering.
